It took some time until I decided if I wanted to read this book. I was thinking I do not know if I want to read another book where some author likes to interrupt the plot with boring history lessons.
Victor Hugo can be really irritating that way. Due to being a gigantic Les Misérables fan and loving both the book and musical, I was trying to decide if I wanted to read Victor Hugo’s other masterpiece. Eventually I decided to since it was Victor Hugo’s first well-known novel
